I'm John Chalmers BSc — a personal trainer with over 13 years of experience helping people create lasting change in their lives through fitness training and shifting their mindsets about working out.
I have a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and over 14 years of industry experience working in a variety of large gyms and small independent gyms. I've worked with every type of client — weight loss, mobility, rehabilitation, strength and endurance — and trained them to achieve their desired results.
I treat each and every client as an individual, so I don't offer any cookie-cutter solutions. My passion is helping others feel confident and empowered in their own skin — I believe fitness is one of the most powerful tools we have to achieve that. When I'm not coaching, you'll find me playing golf or spending time with my family and friends.

£50 per hour
Perfect for trying personal training or topping up an existing plan.
£225 for 5 sessions
Five sessions to build momentum, master the basics and see real change.
£400 for 10 sessions
The full commitment — ten sessions and complete support for a genuine transformation.
Bring a partner or friend and train together in the same session — bespoke personal training for 2 in the private studio, with fitness assessments and goal setting included on packages.

You can expect to change your body! I have no doubt you'll reach the goals we set together — I'll explain what to expect from the whole process during onboarding.
It depends on your current fitness levels, but you'll usually start to see measurable results — body composition, strength and more — within the first few weeks.
It will depend on your schedule, but you can expect anywhere between 3 and 5 sessions per week. We'll discuss this in detail during onboarding.
